About how often do you come to edit your site? I haven't been here since the 13th and I've seen some graphical improvements. It's me again, M03059_ME@hotmail.com. I'm into the graphic arts and I see that you brought out the . . . hmm . . . futuristic look in your website. Which one of you creates the graphics? Do you both work on it? Your background seems out of place with the icons you have on your site. I'd say you'd probably want cooler colors, such as blue or green, to contrast the orange and red of the icons, at the same time complementing them. I really appreciated your comments to my previous message. I've always known there was something I was missing, like how when Windows is missing a component file, such as those notorious .dll files (which I think are crappy pieces of junk that Microsoft needn't place into the computer [LESS IS MORE]). Whenever I'd establish a relationship with a girl I though I liked, my subconscious wouldn't recognize her as the "missing component." (I'd better stop myself before I write a novel.) Anyways, please e-mail me. It kind of gets annoying to write through a guest book. Perhaps we can talk about sharing graphics for your site in a more detailed conversation. You can check out my site at www.geocities.com/m03059/. I've created a graphics organization with a friend of mine. The site's not done yet, but you can look around.

"The needs of the MANY outweigh the needs of the FEW..." (I guess that's why Windows has too many files . . . to make it easy for the general population to use it...and so that people keep on coming back for support files when Windows crashes the system [notice how I said "when" not "if"...])

I was looking for the website for the Global Positioning service, but oddly enough stumbled upon your address in my attempts to randomly type in addresses. Oddly enough, this has been my window into a true gay relationship and allows me to see that there isn't any difference between gays or straight people's relationships. There's the basic core love, then there's the true friendship between partners. I'm a 14-year-old bisexual and I've decided to keep myself open because of the fact that relationships aren't about gender, they're about looking out for each other as humans and trying to find out what really makes people attracted to each other. My previous middle school phsychologist said last year to my parents in a "coming out" conference that I had a right to "leave my doors open" as to my sexual reference. My dad's been bothering me about my sexuality and says that he doesn't want to live with a "faggot." My response to his overrated yelling was that I wasn't completely gay and that I was proud of who I was. But he's one of those people who are too close minded to even know what the term fully means. He says he is, but he isn't. When did you come out? My entire coming out process was kind-of forced because of an accidental slip of the tongue in an electronic conversation. I would like to keep in contact with you guys. You seem to be the type of whole hearted people the people of the world should be. Hats off to you and see you later. My e-mail is M03059_ME@hotmail.com. If you respond to me, please place gps.org in the subject line.LIVE LONG AND PROSPER.-(Vulcan Catch Phrase)

Jim -- Don't worry about your father.  If he truly loves you, he will come to term with you.  As you may have read in other responses along here, I'm always surprised when people feel that love for another person is 'wrong'.  You need to find the person in your life that fulfills you; someone to make you whole.  If that person is female or male doesn't matter.

How did I come out?  It was sort of drawn out; I finally had to come to terms with it when Michael came into my life.  He's very honest and open, and showed me that people will still love me regardless of how I express my love.  I thank you for your kind words!

"Peace and Long Life..."

Why all the AIDS stuff, we already got a cure, dont have sex till your married, if you do then ofcourse the good lord is going to make you pay the price

Jim -- I always had a problem with many people that 'spout' christian ethics.  Look at your statement:  the 'good' lord will make you pay the price.  If he was really 'good' would he not give a cure?  I often hear rhetoric that says something to the effect "they deserve what they got".  My, what a compassionate view.  People don't deserve anything; the child born with AIDS didn't deserve it, the hemophiliac who got it from blood transfusions.  HIV is a virus; it's not God's wrath upon us.  There are viruses just like it in many other animals - I guess the good lord has it in for them too.

Don't have sex until your married? -- Obviously you didn't check out the site well enough.  I'm GAY.  I would LOVE to wait until marriage, but it is the conservative christians that WON'T let me get married.  You would argue; 'well... then just don't have sex'.  Right... I'm supposed to not do something that all life is driven to do.  For what reason?  Some outdated christian ethic?  No.   Love is beautiful; part of our expression of love is sex.  It helps bind us emotionally and spiritually.

Jim - Thank you!  It took me a bit to translate, and I'm sorry your country is so close-minded.  Someday it will change; it has taken many years here, and things are better, but still a long way away.

We just had a try to implement human rights ordinances here in Royal Oak.  It was shot down due to people claiming we wanted 'special rights'.  Is it a 'special' right to not fear being fired from your job? or not being able to live in your house?  or to be attacked?  We are VERY frustrated by this... but we will continue to try and change things.  You should continue as well!

Just stumbled on your site this past week and thought I'd sign your guestbook. Nice to see other happiness here in Motown. My BF and I have been together a little over 4 years now...it's refreshing to see others "working" out the right way to. I'll continue to make stops here while surfing the WWW. Take care guys. Tony (and Mark)

Jim - Tony!  Thank you!  Yes, it's hard sometimes, but we think our relationship is worthwhile!  We still have those little 'arguments' -- just like all other married couples!  But we also have a deep respect for each other.   We have learned to 'agree to disagree' on things.  Just try to keep your partner's viewpoint in perspective with yours, and you will have a long, and happy life!

Hey guys! I just dropped by to say hey again. I come by every once in a while just to see how you two are doing, and check up on the updates!! I love the site! :). I hope everything with you is fantastic. I would also like to say, that I'm glad something was done about the just extremely intelligent, and well thought-out comments thrown your way (ALL of our ways) from mccallie. I find it overly humorous how the person sending you the comments from the school made the distinct effort to visit your site REPEATEDLY and take the time to fill out the comments form. Something to be said about his bottled up feelings perhaps? Anyhow, at least something was done, although I won't agree if being gay is a "choice". BUT! I hope my message finds you well, and get up to Montreal!!

_chris http://www.c-phunk.com

Jim - I know;  we've had an ongoing problem with the children there.  The staff has been EXTREMELY understanding and have taken steps to correct their students' approaches toward other people.  It is my hope, actually, that people can see we're just another couple, and that 'love' for another person is not wrong.  I still get the occasional 'hate' mail from other places, but these are extremely  in the minority of messages.   Take care!  May try to go to Divercite, but have a family reunion / wedding to go to!  We'll see!

Dear Jim and Michael- Please accept an apology for two recent notes from one of our students. It was brought to my attention that a student had sent several offensive comments to your website. We have addressed this insensitivity, and I believe he better understands the wonderful variety of life choices folks may make. His thoughts, showing a clear need to mature in acceptance, were completely inappropriate to voice. Sincerely, S. McCallie; Dean of Residential Life.

Jim - Thank you.  Your apology is certainly accepted.    I understand youth and their exuberance, and the likelihood that the message was placed to 'get a rise' out of us.  Yet, such vehemence  is uncalled for.  It is that type of violent reaction that prompted the death of Matthew Shephard.   I hope, in some degree, this has helped in educating your students in tolerance towards others.

Jim - Wow!  I'm always amazed at the eloquence that comes from http://www.mccallie.org -- a preparatory school located in Tennessee.   "One of the Nation's Premier College Prep Schools,"  and they can't even spell 'Faggot' right!   You're obviously using a computer; try one with a spell checker, or better yet -- try a 'dictionary' some time.  That's a book by the way.  Try reading them, they might open your eyes to a few things in the world that ARE worth living for, rather than bigotry.

Hi Guys..

Your page is rewarding to see two more in love. We too as a Montréal couple have been together in love for the past 22 years. Our home looks so much like yours and is also on the outskirts of the city.

Reading all the mail that you got, there seems to be more and more of us in love and who have made that commitment.

Wishing you lots of luck and glad that you enjoy Toronto, BUT try Montréal for the "gay festivities" during our PRIDE week.

lots of love roger doucie1234@aol.com

I forget how I stumbled into your page, I've spent so much time looking through just a little bit of it. What a great site, those southern Decadence pics were wonderful. Seeing a couple so in love gives hope to those of us still single. Thanks for really improving my day.

Jim -- Well, why don't you try looking at any of the OTHER 72 million sites out there?  I see you spent over 10 mins here.  Why are you spending this much time at my site?  Hmmm... hidden feelings?

You damn queers piss me off. You ruined a perfectly good word. It used to be ok to walk down the street and say "ahh i feel gay" but now if you said that you will get shot BECAUSE NOBODY LIKES QUEERS. go eat out your butt holes you sick fags.

Jim -- wow.  Wasn't that eloquent?  This coming from a preparatory school!  P.S.  -- This has been forwarded to your headmaster.  You aren't the first illiterate juveniles to write me.  I gave you links to forward to, so in case you can't type "gps.edu", where your girlfriends are, then you can just click.  Okay?  Try some internet savvy sometime, and work on the maturity.
